Pimientos de pardon with almonds

Add a little spice to your dinner party with these Spanish green chillies. Enjoy taste the fabulous flavor of these fruity chili peppers.

Pimientos de pardon with almonds

  • Heat the oil in a large fry pan over medium-high heat. Add the pimientos and cook for 3-4 minutes until the skins begin to char.
  • Add nuts and a tablespoon of sea salt, and stir for 1 minute to heat through. Serve warm as a tapas or starter.

A rare pepper, Pimientos de Padrón are not easy to find outside of Spain, but instead of pimientos de Padron you can use any other sweet small peppers, as: Sweet Aji, Hungarian wax, Turkish sweet peppers and etc.
